Description

Dubovskij Rozovij (Dubovsky Pink) is a pink table grape bred by Sergei Gusev, an amateur breeder from Dubovka in southern Russia, together with researchers of the North Caucasus Federal Scientific Centre of Horticulture, Viticulture and Winemaking in Krasnodar, which received a Russian plant-variety patent for it in 2025. Its parents are given as Vostorg Krasny × Jubilej Novocherkasska. It ripens very early to early, and it is grown for its striking, long berries with a pointed tip.

Characteristics

Pink (dark pink) table grape; very early to early ripening (August); large, elongated, conical or branched bunches of about 500 to 800 g, often larger, mostly loose; very large, long oval berries with a pointed tip, about 14 to 16 g; firm, meaty, juicy flesh; harmonious taste; very vigorous; bisexual flowers; high yields

Growing Tips

Dubovskij Rozovij grows very vigorously and crops heavily, so thin the flower clusters to a sensible load; growers also pinch the shoots around flowering to improve the look of the bunches. Its disease resistance has not yet been rated, so follow a normal spray routine, and cover the vine for winter where frosts are hard.
